We were delighted to receive the news that Copperbeech Franklin (Copperbeech Polly x Bunowen Paddy) had gained Class 1 Stallion Status in the Czech Republic.
The Connemara Pony Society in the Czech Republic, the newest daughter society of the CPBS, had recently achieved approval through the Czech Agricultural authorities to manage the Connemara Pony Stud Book within the country.
This first round of inspections were historic, marking the first organised by the new daughter society and the first held for the approved stud book of the Czech Republic.
At Copperbeech Connemara Ponies, we were thrilled that Franklin had been recorded as one of the very first Class 1 stallions in the Czech Republic stud book.
We extended our congratulations to Michaela and the team at Diamond Czech Pony Stud Farm for giving Franklin such a wonderful home since his arrival as a foal, for rearing and producing him so responsibly, and for having him in impeccable order to achieve his Class 1 status.
We wished them the best of luck for the future, hoping Franklin would leave his stamp on this special breed in the Czech Republic.
