We were delighted to receive the news on Thursday that Copperbeech Encore achieved Class 1 Stallion status at the Connemara Pony Breeders’ Society inspections. Owned by Debbie Todd of Blackburn, Lancashire, United Kingdom, Encore is an absolute credit to Debbie, her careful rearing of Encore from a weanling foal and exceptional preparation for inspections is clearly evident. Encore is a son of our own home bred broodmare Carrowkeel Star and by Glencarrig Knight. In 2014, Carrowkeel Star and Glencarrig Knight stood side by side as Reserve Supreme and Supreme Champions of Clifden. Encore’s grand dam is Lishín Star, a much decorated mare including Reserve Supreme Champion in Clifden 2019.
We are very much looking forward to following Copperbeech Encore in his career and wish Debbie the very best of luck for his future.
